CoDA is currently recruiting for a Temporary Electrician at the City of Derry Airport (4 Months)
The City of Derry Airport is a progressive, commercially focused and a constantly changing business with a talented, passionate and committed workforce.
Join us, as a temporary electrician and you will be putting your expert knowledge to use within a challenging working environment with real variety on offer.
You will be working as part of the Airport Engineering department at the City of Derry Airport which provides an almost 24-hour call-out service. Your focus will be on keeping a range of airport systems in excellent working condition. This could involve restoring equipment by identifying and rectifying faults and failures to carrying out specialist maintenance, modification and installation programmes.
With a good electrical background in a similar role, you will have a strong commercial awareness and be able to adapt to working on a range of systems and installations including baggage control, heating plant systems, Airport terminal electrical installations and data installations.
You will be a fully qualified Electrician with 17th Edition qualification and ideally you will hold C&G 2391 Part 2, test and inspection certification, and have a good knowledge of Building Regulations for electrical installations. You will also hold a CSCS Card.
